As some of you know, Christmas Day, 2010 ..I lost my father to Multiple Myeloma ..which is similar to Lukemia, but it attacks the plasma.

So, this past year, my family and I ..really my younger brother's idea was to start a non-profit organization dedicated to funding and finding a cure for Multiple Myeloma ..
We've almost gotten everything together, and I'm really proud of my brother, because he's doing a lot to heighten awareness for this cancer.
Last weekend, I participated in a walk for the cure with my friends ...

It was a great turnout, cold or not, and I'm realllllllllly glad that I was able to take part in it ..
Believe me, my body hated me after this walk ..my achilles especially, but none of that mattered, I enjoyed myself.
In the future, I hope to plan more fundraising events for the cure.
I've got a couple of ideas, and I can't wait to get them started.
